Hey Baby!,

What'cha up to? Good night last night, out again tonight, or is it a kid weekend?

Thanks, by the way, for packing the "Muse - Origin of Symmetry" CD. I know I probably killed it, still listening to it...boy pleads for mercy, but that just means "Play it louder!".

"Everything about you is how I wanna be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above
..."

Followed by...

"I've exposed your lies, baby
The underneath is no big surprise
Now it's time for changing
And cleansing everything
To forget your love
"

Anyways, just thought I'd say thanks.
Not much today - went to that costume sale out in Springbank, behind the Wild West Center. Some great costumes, but the prices..., well. Suffice it to say a little bit of creativity would take you a lot farther at a Value Village then there.

There was an older couple trying on costumes, man wearing some sort of Venetian cloak and hat that covered his face, his wife this tiny skirt...kinky, well, you know what I was thinking. Probably regulars at MM, although upon reflection no one was ever that well dressed at MM.
Something about Halloween brings that out...

Took the kids to see film at the dollar cinemas in the North East, "The Mummy #3" (utter rubbish) at 3:50, except we took a shortcut through downtown, forgetting that in Dave Bronconniers Calgary there are no shortcuts, traffic was stalled all the way up 5th Ave. Took us over an hour to get there, 3 hours to wait till the next movie, so we wandered around, watched the fish (gooey ducks, live shrimp, etc) in the Chinese grocery, sort of a free edible zoo. Bought the boy a "Fire Dragon Fruit" - quite good actually, despite it's bizarre appearance.
Then a walk over behind the mall to the railway tracks, boy wanted to do his running, he's big into the fitness thing, watched him do sprints for half an hour, Eve, the toad, kept telling me that he was taking too long, I had to explain this was of his own volition, I wasn't forcing him, it wasn't a punishment. He was insistent I try, I resisted, inadequate footwear...a rather dismal  day,  such a bleak neighborhood, most of the trees festooned in garbage bags blown from the nearby industrial park give it a certain post-apocalyptic feel. And right across from it I recognised the strip mall, maybe you remember, where we went on a particular trial night out. Still there, as best I can tell, windows covered in styrofoam, but you can look down the hall, recognized the neighboring shops. A little trip down memory lane.

Then home, dinner-fried rice, and now writing you.
Hope your well. Dying to get out some night, not this weekend, but next weekend definitely...
