Located just off Crowchild Trail South West, in the old Curry Barracks, the Calgary Farmers' Market hosts a large variety of vendors that specialize in Organic and locally grown vegetables, Free-Range meats (including such delicacies as Ostrich and Bison), arts and crafts and Calgary's most savoury food court. A very clean, friendly and warm community environment to go for lunch and shop for groceries. And prices are not only reasonable, but frequently beat those of Safeway and Co-op. No wonder this heads the list!
