Didn't really like this one, colors, composition all wrong, but I did better the second time round:
All the while listening to "The Master and Margarita", audiobook, good background noise to distract the brain from the task at hand.
Audiobook, good narration, but I didn't like the narrator's imitation of the voices. Perhaps a radio play would have been a more suitable pick...

The boy, upon seeing pictures of my dogs, commissioned me to make him some pictures of a black kitten.
Why not? The first picture proved the best, the later 2 efforts were - while colorful, not exactly what I was hoping for (hence the bad pictures).
Kitten with yarn. This was attempt #2. Bits are OK, bits - background especially - needed a lot more work and thought.
Cat with Rat. Not so unhappy with this one, but maybe a little overworked.
And Finally, the first one I did, which is still by far and away the best:
