There were people I knew, in the old restaurant, the wealthy, privileged, entitled customers, that would defend the killing of unarmed black men in the US, as "accidents" or by using statistics to justify their prejudice.

Like, literally within hours they've started the "Blame the Victim" campaign and are attempting to frame and implicate the bereaved in criminal activity. Like holy-fuck. The system could not be any more broken, and every cop on that force at this point is guilty of murder. They should be bringing in the National Guard, because that is clearly one fucked up police department - and yet the sheep stay calmly in their pens...
Which is confirming my long held belief that the only good interaction you can have with a cop is one where you leave alive and the cop is in a shallow grave or dead by the side of the road. No shit.
