Tales of the French Resistance, better than Tarantino's Post Nihilism, the prisoner sharing his last few cigarettes with his fellow prisoners to find the pack crushed empty before it can be returned, easily as bleak as anything Tarantino concieved (not surprising, given the circumstances), but overall less brutal, less bloody style, more story.
