A much-discussed series on Netflix. Uncomfortable, but unflinching in it's portraits of both the "Stalker" and "Victim", the acting, excellent, the morality, vague, uncertain, complex, a "true story" that's probably truer than anything else on the TV at the moment.

Nuance, subtlety, and complex ideas being long since out of fashion there, this is a great little series that would never be made in America, although I have heard that Stephen King enquired about making a movie version...

And it drove home for me, not that it should have to, I've long since learned, but the dangers of empathy, and yet to be without it is to be inhuman, and so where do we begin deciding the doors we need to close and those to open?
