That I'm on Kootenay Lake, Not Kootenay Lake, Kootenay Lake only much narrower and the mountains, from the edge, are so much higher...
I'm on a dock with my daughter, looking across, there's a miniature cruise ship, 4 stories above the water with 4 smokestacks just like the Titanic. And across the lake a glacier slips down and plunges in, a big wave and the cruise ship tips on it's side, I look at my daughter, I'm annoyed but I have to dive in and try and save some of the people, the water's going to be cold, I grab a garden hose from the dock and leap in...
Swimming, swimming, they don't need me at the ship, there weren't so many people on it after all,but there's a box that's fallen into the water, filled with - ?Pearls? I don't know, but it's sinking and sinking, the lid is open and it's contents are floating up but I'm swimming deeper after the box, the water isn't so cold after all...

I mean, at the end of the day, Craigslist is filled with perverts...
My ad, after a month, is still on page one.
I'm going to sell my Banana Pump without the perverts. There's clearly not enough of them.
So I go to Kijiji.
And, most of my visits are via people checking "See other items for sale from this user...", so the banana-pump views, they're climbing...
And it keeps me posting ads, different ads in all categories, because a surprising amount of sales come from people browsing your other ads.
So I gotta get a lot more ads out there. Drive a lot more visits. But - so far, Kijiji V Craigslist, Kijiji is winning.

And I found these as well unpacking, the last package I have - (I also sent a few off to people that I knew would use to good effect...). And I was going to sell but I think I'll send them to an old restaurant with instructions to surreptitiously put them on all the mugs...
The Old London Phone Boxes

Unpacking - Slowly - found all these old cards in one box. For those of you who would remember, there used to be - in London - Phoneboxes that all the local prostitutes would fill with their cards advertising their services. I found it novel and collected a pile, it was an infinitely renewable stash, invariably they'd be replaced the next day.
But now there are no more phoneboxes, they've all disappeared (I imagine, like Pay Phones in Canada and the US) - and the cards - I imagine - have gone with them. So - I've scanned the remaining few I have before I send them off to share with you. I have no more need of them (did I ever?) and will be sending them off as postcards. If you'd like one send me your address - quick, before they're all gone.
