And the new house has reached that in-between stage whereby nothing is getting done.
By which I mean that if I worked steady for 4 hours, unpacked the kids rooms, hung the remaining few pictures on the wall, I'd be done.
Of course there's always the optional "Sort through and organize shit" phase, but that doesn't bear consideration, at least until I'm unpacked.
Tomorrow. Today is garage sale day, 25 minutes and counting, tomorrow possibly I'm child free, I'll finish unpacking then...
And that's how nothing gets done...

A limited, abbreviated map for tomorrow.
While there's hundreds of garage sales already to visit, lack of transportation (well, bus, which in Calgary = lack) has forced me to narrow my search.
A church sale in the NW, I seem to recall it being OK in the past, then a quick jog down to hill to another charity fundraiser, slow walk home past any others that I happen to stumble across. I try not to get discouraged by the lack of transport, really it's all down to timing - being in the right place at the right time .... and, with luck, tomorrow I'll be in the right place at the right time. But I'll keep you updated.

The bathroom sink has a slow drain.
I've filled it with liquid plumber, dumped pots of boiling water down it, the same.
You run the water to shave or brush your teeth, and up from the drain bubble yesterdays bits of blueberry smoothie, raspberry seeds, whiskers, gobs of undissolved toothpaste and shaving cream. You turn off the taps to let it all slowly percolate back down, a filthy ring forms about the sink, you attempt to rinse it, more bubbles up, you turn off the taps again...

I came across this one while surfing the net:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJfBSc6e7QQ&feature=youtu.be
Curious, as it's not something that one generally thinks of. Well, I have, but never to the point of making a video....
The point of it is this: The earth is expanding, which explains the similarities between fossils, etc.
Note that Pangea and the theory of Continental Drift also explains the same thing, the author of the video has merely taken the Big Bang theory and applied it to it's constituent parts, on a much reduced time scale.
Now the author doesn't explain (at least in his video) where the extra earth mass is coming from, or why it should be expanding, but these are merely trifles, if you're curious and need further explanation he does so via simple colorful cartoons at his website: http://www.nealadams.com. And if you were, even for a second, thinking he might be onto something the website should persuade you otherwise ...
