Early to work, scrounging what remains of the beach. Water still rising, 2 more feet projected for the next week, little remains of the beach so it's an easy comb.
Bottom left - petrified wood? upper left - agate - right, various chert flakes, lower right - the ovoid - looks suspiciously to me like an arrowhead. A bird point, none to glamorous, but - when the lake recedes I'm looking for a whole pile of new treasures to be exposed...

And, rumour has it from a source close to the owners, that the restaurant has sold, conditional on not letting the staff know.
So it's strictly on the down-low, and - really it's time, there are bigger and better adventures, but, damn, I need wheels, a place to live, and I've a whole shit-load of bills that need squaring away before this next run of unemployment...

First, the procession of aimless and unrelated imagery. Completely random, pictures assembling and animating themselves in my head for no reason that I can put a finger on.
It's entertaining, I can see why this is popular.
And secondly, the cavalcade of childhood memories that erupt in association with said images. Memories long forgotten, who knows, maybe they don't even exist, but they erupt in association with the images - which - I should note, have no relation whatsoever with them, these images, they never existed, but they seem by random channels of thought I have yet to decipher to percolate to the surface, a longing, haunting memory of childhood, the emotional quality preserved so fresh as if I were reliving it...
I'm going to have to try this a bit more. I'm curious.

This year, it seemed, a little quieter than others, but, all in all still a good time. A few of the usual faces, light conversations, the son & his friends, chat, dance, party the night away until 7:00 AM...
Then, a brief sleep and the long days to recovery. There was a Lunar Beltane, Winlaw, for the next 3 days, but I need to work on my Stamina, one night and I'm bloody exhausted.
