So, no surprises, Disney has monetized the hell out of this with a whole slew of new Star Wars min-series coming in the near future. They are sucking the joy out of my childhood. Season 2, well - I can't criticize it - it's clearly aimed at children - young children, under 12's, yet in pursuit of mindless things I sat through it, got "hooked" on the inanity of it all. True to form, at the end of the season they invoke the Gods of Nostalgia, poorly done with bad CGI, but it'll suck in the fans.
Anyways, it's Disney, it's for kids, it's exactly what you'd get if you crowdsourced a script for a Star Wars Fan Film, what amazes me is how many other adults are being sucked in by it.

Saw this when I was a young kid at the movie theatre in Moose Jaw. Thinking it was the smaller double theatre off Main Street, the short before the feature, for some reason it disturbed me. Searched for it on the internet a few years ago, couldn't find it, now just turned it up.

Loved this. Smart, Grotesque, Brilliant. I don't precisely know how it ended up in the "Horror" Category, it's not, but it deals with visually/intellectually/ dense themes along the ideas of Memory, Age, Time. Typical Kaufman, and I can't pretend to understand even a fraction of it, but it will reward further viewings. Currently on Netflix.

Went over to restaurant to pick up/drop off some Xmas gifts. Their closed but they're thinking of us. And, outside in a rockpile I spotted this:

Fits the hand perfectly, worn on the bottom, an old Indian Hammer. Picked up by the owner on a nearby creek...
Damn. An excellent find and I'm more than a bit jealous.
