I completely did not need this, but when have I needed anything?
Antique Candlestick Phone, no dial, because you just click on the receiver until the operator comes on and switchboard can patch you through...she'll know who you're trying to call.
Given that we pay the most of any civilized country for our telecommunications, this might be ONE way to make Telus work for it...

Heading to work Friday and I come across the first garage sale of the weekend, just setting up. A box of pens, I pick through them:
6 Pens, 1 Mont Blanc, 4 Cross, 1 Schaeffer. "How Much?"... "A dollar?". I give him $10, it's all I have, there are limits to how badly I can take advantage of somebody.
Saturday morning, the promise of Friday's hit fresh in my glove-box, off early, there are a variety of sales to be hit. In todays dollars that would be around $200, 000. Not bad for a single pan. And note that most of the old time miners weren't interested in keeping records, so a lot of lucky strikes like this went unrecorded.
